The Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) certification was developed to meet growing employment demands of the warehousing and logistics industry. The training begins with supply chain and the logistics environment. Other topics include: material handling equipment, equipment operation and quality control. This course includes: First Aid, CPR/AED, OSHA 10 and Forklift certifications.
For students who are committed to completing their GED while earning workforce credentials, the program will begin on June 4 and run through August 22. Class will meet Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00am-12:00pm. Beginning July 8, class will meet Monday through Thursday from 1:30-4:30pm. Students are required to attend a three day registration session on Tuesday, May 28, Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 30 to enroll in the program.
For students who currently hold a High School diploma or GED certification, class will begin on July 8 and run through August 22. Class will meet Monday through Thursday from 1:30-4:30pm. A three-day mandatory registration session will be offered on Monday, June 24, Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26. Students are required to attend one of the three-day registration sessions to enroll in the program.
