As such we are introducing a brand-new course in the spring catalog: fiber optics installation. This course will cover the basics of fiber and transmission theory along with splicing and installation training. Fiber optics is an in-demand skill that employers in our area have requested — and we have answered the call.
We are also excited to announce the opening of our new Career Center at the Reynolds Downtown campus! Open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am-5:00 pm, the center will serve CCWA & Reynolds students as well as job seekers from the greater Richmond area interested in enrolling in Network2WorkRVA. This center will also have a bilingual coach available to meet with Spanish-speaking students.
