Certified Clinical Medical Assistants are in high-demand, and our program helps graduates with successful placement in full-time positions. VCU Health, one of the top employers we serve, has hired 99 of our CMA program completers, one of which is 22-year-old Angel Glenn.
Angel started her career in the healthcare industry with an entry-level position in patient transport that she got through VCU Health’s Pathways to Healthcare Workforce program. She learned a lot in this role and knew she wanted to do more in the field, leading her to apply for a certified medical assistant position. With help from the Pathways to Healthcare Workforce program, she was connected to CCWA, where she was able to access financial assistance to pay for her classes.
