For the first time in the Commonwealth of Virginia, CCWA — in a partnership with IECC — is offering a full four-year program of apprentice-related instruction, resulting in a journeyman’s license. CCWA’s initial class of 14 apprentices began their first year of training at our new skilled trades labs at the Reynolds Downtown Campus in January 2024. Each apprentice is already employed full-time with an IECC member company and is on their way to becoming a licensed journeyman.
