After years of bartending and working in the restaurant industry, Waker was ready for a change. He visited CCWA’s Parham Road Campus and immediately signed up for a skilled trades course. With little experience in electrical work, Waker showed up hungry to learn and find a new career. He was able to transform his future by learning from instructors at CCWA who allowed him to “figure it out” while being steered in the right direction. Now, Waker says, his life is filled with opportunities!
