Great news for Petersburg: As of November 1, 2025, Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) now includes a stop at Brightpoint Community College’s Chester Campus! The Route 3 Richmond Express bus runs Monday through Saturday except on holidays, as advertised on PAT’s website, and it will use the existing Weir Road bus stop near the Nicholas Center.
With routes already available for Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield and Hanover, Petersburg will continue to support accessibility for more students to take advantage of affordable credential training programs through CCWA. This includes courses in healthcare, skilled trades, CDL and manufacturing, now just a bus ride away!
