As of December 2024, 80% of CCWA’s career clusters saw a significant increase in enrollment, compared to the same time in 2023. We are thrilled to have so many people interested in training and receiving credentials! So far in 2025, healthcare, skilled trades, education, and manufacturing and logistics have seen notable growth.
By the Numbers: Enrollment Growth
CCWA has already enrolled more than 2,000 students in Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25), surpassing last year’s total with 12 weeks still remaining.
- FY24 (this time last year): 1,803 students enrolled
- FY25 (as of now): 2,000+ students enrolled
Since opening, nearly 10,000 industry-recognized certifications have been awarded directly fueling Virginia’s skilled workforce and helping thousands launch or advance their careers.
Training for In-Demand Careers
This momentum is no surprise — CCWA works closely with industry leaders and regional employers to ensure our training programs align with real workforce needs. Our employer partnerships provide direct insight into the skills and credentials companies seek, allowing us to anticipate demand and prepare our students with the credentials and skills necessary for successful careers in these high-growth sectors. Jobs within these sectors are expected to be among the fastest-growing occupations between 2023-2033, as predicted by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
