EKG Technician Certification Program

The Certified Electrocardiography Technician Class is designed to prepare students to function as professionals in multiple cardiac healthcare settings. CETs perform various clinical tasks including setting up and performing an electrocardiogram (EKG) and stress tests, preparing patients for Holter or ambulatory monitoring, editing and delivering final test results to the physician for analysis, scheduling appointments, and transcribing physician’s interpretations.
Clinical Medical Assistant Program

The Clinical Medical Assisting program is designed to prepare students to function as professionals in multiple healthcare settings. Medical assistants with a clinical background perform various clinical tasks including assisting with the administration of medications and with minor procedures, performing an EKG electrocardiogram, obtaining laboratory specimens for testing, educating patients, and other related tasks.
Medical Coding - Certified Professional Coder

This program will introduce class participants to the basic principles of coding for outpatient and physician services. Instruction will include: beginning through advanced CPT coding. It will cover information about anatomy, terminology, and various procedures, as well as demonstrations and examples on how to code each service in the CPT book.
Pharmacy Technician Program

This program will prepare participants to enter the pharmacy field and to pursue certification towards the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s (PTCB) exam. Technicians work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, home infusion pharmacies, community pharmacies, and other pharmacy settings.

Certified Phlebotomy Technician

This program prepares students to be professional phlebotomy technicians dedicated to the art of blood withdrawal. Graduates are equipped to prepare the patient, perform venipuncture and assist to maintain the quality of the specimen. The student will obtain information on different blood draw methods, additives and handling procedures.
